2004 Feasibility Study Update
The Update was completed by the Rail District in December 2004 and accepted by the Board in May 2005:

The Update revised and brought up-to-date fundamental components of the March 1999 Austin-San Antonio Commuter Rail Study, Feasibility Report. Key elements such as population projections, ridership estimates, and project implementation costs are structured in a manner that is consistent with federal requirements under the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) New Starts Program.
